Jo Loves by Jo Malone Pink Vetiver Parfum 100ml

The VetiverPink Vetiver Story:

Jos father used to wear guerlains vetiver when she was a little girl, and the scent reminds her of watching him get ready for work - putting on his three piece chesterfield suit. But jos story of pink vetiver starts in her beloved paris; walking the streets smelling the blossom in the air, mixing with the notes of the spice markets she would visit (cumin, nutmeg, ginger). All these scents would mix along with that of each passer-by and she was reminded of the unmistakable and versatile scent of vetiver. She worked to develop her vetiver, and when she found it jo wondered how she was going to add a whirlwind of a contemporary twist to the classic scent.

As is often the case with jo, she sees, color first and with her vetiver she saw pink hues, almost tiny little balls of pinky/ redand that was when it came to her pink peppercorn! So she painted her vetiver note onto her arm and then held a bag of pink peppercorns in her hand and thus pink vetiver was born!

To Jo, this scent is a pinstripe suit the vetiver is the grey of the suit and the pink peppercorn is the pinstripe running through it emoting that memory of her father all those years ago.
