A touch of Bergamot introduces Birch, calming down the spicy notes, bringing sensuality and softness. However, this scent is all about the rich, smooth woody notes such as Guaiac, adding a touch of Pink Pepper for nuance and a final kick. While making Birch, Andrea Maack moved to her family's wooden cabin hidden away in the Icelandic highlands, orignally built by her Grandfather in the 50's - a place where she spent many summers as a child, inhaling the scent of the birch trees surrounding the cabin. This is such a beautiful woody fragrance that still has light elements to it - it is a refined and smooth woody scent.
